Project Overview
With a changing environment for women involved in farming and ranching operations, there needs to be an opportunity for these women to continually prepare for the responsibilities of working and running the farm business. Annie’s Project provided the basis for this knowledge by building skill and sharing information. As a result of Annie’s project, these women learned to manage information systems they use in critical decision making processes and develop a support network to provide essential continuing education and self-help.
A series of six continuous sessions were held in each of the 9 location across Nebraska with 10 to 25 participants at each location. Session modules were taught through various methods of lecture, discussion, individual work, group work, computer work and audio/visual support. Sessions were taught and facilitated by UNL Extension Staff members and supplemental instruction was provided by outside speakers.
Number of Participants: 118
