Project Overview

The project Human Risk Management for Agricultural Producers (HR 4 Ag & Main Street) addressed issues related to human risk management. The target audience was small to medium sized agricultural operations and small businesses in Nebraska and the Midwest. The project utilized a multi-platform delivery approach.  In-person workshops were held across Nebraska. Online materials are also available to producers. Web-based deliverables include a website with online presentations, videos, accompanying materials, and interactive forums focused on specific human risk management issues.
Our team presented in-person workshops to two different audiences reaching 68 individuals. This project assisted producers in 1) improving their communication skills, 2) recruiting/retaining quality employees, 3) effectively training employees, 4) increasing the well-being of themselves as well as their employees, and 5) improving the safety of employees and families.
