Project Overview

The Central MN Women in Agriculture Network (WAGN) was a pilot program with the goal of providing timely risk management education.  We accomplished this by establishing an annual conference and subsequent quarterly seminars.  Topics covered included human resource management, farm-to-market business,  transition and estate planning, financial management, communications, and strategic planning.  On top of this, we also established an advisory committee, website, and Facebook page.

We will continue to build WAGN in MN.  Plans are underway for a conference and quarterly seminars in 2018.  We've also begun to work on finding sponsorships so that we can continue to offer this programming at an affordable price.  Our advisory committee has grown and we look to them to help us champion WAGN's brand and provide input to our programming.  We are excited to provide women with the ability to confidently make strong business decisions and enjoy success!
