Idaho Barley Commission: (1) 7 marketing workshops held Dec. 4, 5 and 10, 2012 in Rexburg and Pocatello and Feb. 1, 2013 in Pullman, WA; (2) 5 webinars on crop insurance and marketing; (3) state-wide Idaho Women in Agriculture Conference held March 2, 2013 in Twin Falls, ID.
South Idaho Extension: (1) one-day Farm Management Tools workshops held December 11, 12 and 13, 2012 in Burley, Pocatello and Rexburg; (2) 6-week series of farm management workshops held Jan. 16-17 through Feb. 20-21, 2013 in 4 locations (Burley, Jerome, Rexburg and Pocatello); (3) short courses on estate and succession planning (4 sessions) held Feb. 27-28, 2013 through March 20-21,2013 in Burley, Idaho Falls and Preston.
North Idaho Extension: Innovative three-stage program to strengthen basic and advanced grain marketing skills: Step One - Tool Up - a major one day workshop on integrating grain marketing and crop insurance strategies; Step Two - Step Up - developing marketing plans; and Step Three - Wrap It Up - executing marketing plans. Sessions were held January 28, February 11 and February 25, 2013. Keeping the Legacy Alive short course (succession planning) held March 12, 13 and 15 in Lewiston, with follow-up session in May 2013.
