Project Overview

The Whole Ranch Planning Series is a learning program that provided grassfed livestock growers with resources, tools and information needed to implement a Whole Systems approach to business and financial planning for their operations. Through a series of four sessions (7 days), participants were guided through a process of financial planning and assessment that provided them with tools to make informed decisions and implement specific actions to minimize financial risk.

Topics included holistic range managment, drought planning, direct/wholesale marketing options and developing additional farm/ranch-derived income. All subjects involved the process of planning for and developing resilience to market volatility.

The program was led by Kirk Gadzia, internationally recognized holistic ranch management specialist, consultant and Certified Educator with the Holistic Management International Center.
