Project Overview

The project seemed successful, overall.  We were able to develop some useful educational materials which were well-received, and workshop evaluations indicated that participants found the information to be useful.

We were able to deliver 12 workshops instead of the initial target of 10.  The first 8 workshops were held in January 2015 in the central and western parts of Nebraska, and the final 4 covered the eastern end of the state.

Help with publicity through local extension offices and contacts of extension educators were key in supporting workshop attendance.  The project director believes he could have done more with state-wide media in announcing the programs.
