$15,000 of ERME Funding, participant fee dollars and non-cash value from workshop presenters was invested in a Cattle Production School for the producers in SE Montana. The funds were used to facilitate instructor travel, supplies and facilities cost of nine sessions covering a broad spectrum of basic knowledge and practices. The program was designed to reduce production risk and increase the profitability of the Cow/Calf or stocker cattle production enterprise. The agenda for the 9 sessions included

The program utilized Staff from Colorado State University, University of Wyoming, North Dakota State University, Fort Keogh ARS Research Station and Montana State Universtiy as well as Industry Experts. Expanded Interest allowed for large attendance at two sessions.
