This project expanded into more than expected with 17 workshops for 583 participants in 6 states, 8 farm visits with 18 farmers, numerous phone call consultations, 1889 website page views, and 1484 video viewings (totaling 6085 minutes of viewing) in the past year. Of the workshops, Jesse Richardson, working in collaboration with county educators, conducted 8 in West Virginia for 327 participants. This has been the most effort on farm transition planning in West Virginia in recent memory.
The website continues to be a valuable educational tool, with 29 videos from previous years' funding that continue to provide education on farm transition. The lifetime total of website video views to date is 7507 views (25,324 minutes of viewing).
Participants rated the workshops as highly successful, increasing knowledge in all topic areas. Participants indicated they would most likely discuss issues with family members, see a service professional, update wills, and develop business plans.
