DESCRIBE ANY UNEXPECTED RESULTS OF THE PROJECT:

We had greater participation from dairy industry professional -non producers - than we expected.
It was great to be able to offer the refresher class - this was not part of the original project plan. But it was something many participants requested.

HOW WOULD YOU IMPROVE THE PROJECT IF YOU WERE TO DO IT AGAIN?

We had such good feedback from producers who took the class. We would use producers who took the class to help more with promoting it to potencial producer participants.
We would include the refresher class in the original project funding because the refresher class turned out to be a very important learning ´tool´.

WHAT WERE THE KEYS TO SUCCESS FOR YOUR PARTICIPANTS?

Participants paid the full amount ´up front´ for the class cost and after completion they were reimbursed for most of the class cost. This was as motivation to complete the class and take ownership in the class.
The instructor made the class very interactive and taylored to participant needs.
The participants practiced, practiced and then practiced some more!!
