Four workshops and one conference session delivered risk management education to 85 producers on meat community supported agriculture (CSA) programs and collaborative marketing models, business and legal strategies for collaborative marketing, safe and legal methods for meat production and marketing, agricultural business plan development, and the future of Nevada’s meat industry. The workshops and session covered price, financial, and legal risks of direct marketing meat through cooperative and collaborative arrangements.
