Project Overview

This was a cooperative project between the Minnesota Canola Council, Midwest Forage Association, and Minnesota Cultivated Wild Rice Council with RMA and UW/UM Extension. Six producer events (one MCC, four MFA, one MCWRC) were conducted:

The canola portion of these meetings was held on December 14 and provided producers with a summary of crop insurance products available including new SCO and APH Yield Exclusion policies.

The wild rice portion of these meetings was held on January 10 & 11 and provided producers with a summary of current crop insurance products available to wild rice producers including new SCO and APH Yield Exclusion policies.

The forage portions of these meetings were held in Wisconsin Dells, WI, on January 24 & 25, in in Rochester, Royalton, and Floodwood, MN, on January 31, February 1, and February 2 respectively. These meetings reviewed the Pasture, Rangeland, and Forage Program and the Forage Seeding Program.
