Project Overview

The mission of Annie´s Project is to empower farm women to be better business partners through networks and by managing and organizing critical information. This request extended Annie’s Project in Iowa and Missouri to sites where Annie’s Project had not been previously offered.

The North Central Risk Management Education Center has been a strong partner in supporting the program for several years. That support has allowed Bob Wells and Tim Eggers of Iowa State University Extension to provide support for Annie´s Project´s expansion to 25 states in 2010.

Each class introduces management information and training in financial, production, marketing, legal and human resources risk management. Annie´s Project enhances interpersonal skills, teaches the best available technologies and decision tools, and leaves a community with a mentoring network for farm women.

This project offered seventeen, six session classes for Iowa and Missouri,
