Project Overview

This proposal is a collaborative risk management educational project that involves the New York NFO, the New York Grange, and the Institute for Rural America for the purpose of targeting producers and their spouses, including young farmers, on the subjects of marketing, marketing clubs, and risk managment education for dairy and livestock producers. After attending this event, we expect that 30% of producers attending the informational event will increase their usage or participation of risk managment tools within six months and a minimum of two new neighbor´s marketing groups will form.

Our choice for the risk area education will be defined as price, financial and human, although we will only focus on selected areas in those topics and define those areas later in this proposal.

New York NFO is part of NFO, Inc, and is the applicant for this project. Carrol Wade, project director is a resident agent for NFO, Inc, under whose Duns number and Tax ID this application is being made.
