Project Overview

We proposed to develop and implement economic risk management worksheets (hard and soft copies), short videos and fact sheets for at least 8 vineyard production practices to assist growers in determining the feasibility of implementing a new practice in their vineyard or moving into varieties for sale to small wineries. We were able to produce thirteen videos, posting them to YouTube and create DVD´s but the loss of the Business Management Educator for the project delayed the development of the economic worksheets to a point where they were unavailable during the 2008 Coffee Pot meeting season. They will be available, and used, during the 2009 Coffee Pot meeting season.

Videos of the top production practices, determined through grower surveys, are available on YouTube for those not able to attend Coffee Pot Meetings, want information on different practices, or would like more information on a particular practice.
