Project Overview

This project will provide risk management education to Idaho grain producers. The target audience will be more than 200 producers from through-out the state; although priority will be producers in southern and eastern Idaho where about 85% of the Idaho grain crop is produced. One-day training sessions will be held in a minimum of two locations in this region of the state (Burley and Idaho Falls) to build on the producer education efforts provided during the past four consecutive years. Additional training will be offered in other locations of the state, in conjunction with other grain producer events, such as the annual University of Idaho Cereal Schools.
