Project Overview

Annie´s Project, Ohio, is a comprehensive educational program and support network for midwestern farm women. As more women become involved in agribusiness, they face new challenges. These challenges can be overcome with an education tailored to the roles these women play in their business, family and community. One significant component of Annie´s Project is the opportunity for women to network with other farm women in their geographical area who are also involved in agriculture.

Annie´s Project educated farm women and assisted them with new ways to improve their business, as well as new ways to balance the demands of family, community and professionalism within the agricultural community. Due to the uniqueness and close networking of Annie´s Project the number of participants was limited to 25 per class. Finally, Annie´s Project educated farm women to utilize their unique talents to improve agriculture in Ohio.
