Project Overview

Annie´s Project--Education for Farm Women focused on the fives areas of risk management for 2007 and 2008; financial, marketing, legal, human resources and production. Farm women enrolled in seven multiple-session (6) classes to learn about basic farm financial records among other basic introductory topics. These classes were held in computer labs. Women Marketing Grain, a two-day workshop, was offered to farm women as a trip to the Chicago Board of Trade in August of 2007. The goal of Women Marketing Grain was to increase confidence in their ability to manage grain sales and inventory.
